About

Most of my career has been in operations. Customer experience. Travel operations. Escalations. Large teams. The kind of work where things look clean in PowerPoint until real life gets involved.

Over the last several months I've been building out systems for my own business, The Knight Emporium — and it's changed the way I think about AI completely. What started as an inventory problem turned into a full operational rebuild: workflows, reporting structures, data architecture, process cleanup.

That experience is what this site is about.

I'm not approaching AI as an influencer or an engineer. I'm approaching it as someone who has spent years in operations and is now watching AI fundamentally change how businesses can be built, managed, and scaled — and what actually happens when you try to implement it inside a real business environment.

What I Write About

  • AI & Operations — What actually works when you try to plug AI into real operational workflows. Not demos. Implementation.
  • Systems Thinking — Why most operational problems are system design failures, not people failures. And what to do about it.
  • Build Logs — Real-time documentation of systems I'm building or rebuilding. Architecture decisions, mistakes, and what I'd do differently.
  • Customer Experience — The operational side of CX. How workflow design and system architecture determine the experience customers actually have.
